Samsung is rolling out AirDrop compatibility for its Galaxy S26 series via the Quick Share feature, starting March 23 in South Korea and expanding to the U.S. and other regions by late March.
The update enables direct file sharing between Samsung and Apple devices, requiring manual activation in settings and the recipient’s AirDrop set to "Everyone."
While initially limited to the S26 models, Samsung plans future support for other Galaxy devices.
The feature marks a major step in cross-platform interoperability, following Google’s earlier integration on Pixel phones.
