Romania’s first lady attends U.S.-hosted summit on children’s digital education and AI safety.

Romania’s first lady, Mirabela Grădinaru, will attend the U.S.-hosted “Fostering the Future Together” global summit in Washington D.C. on March 24–25, 2026, alongside a delegation including state advisers. The event, led by First Lady Melania Trump, focuses on advancing children’s digital education, expanding access to AI and online safety tools, and strengthening international cooperation. Romania’s delegation will participate in a State Department working session, a White House meeting with global counterparts, and side engagements on education exchanges, healthcare, and child well-being programs.
