Ontario to allow BYO alcohol at outdoor events starting April 30, 2026.
Starting April 30, 2026, Ontario will allow bring-your-own alcohol at public outdoor events in designated areas, following a provincial announcement by Premier Doug Ford and Attorney General Doug Downey.
Municipalities can pass bylaws to permit beer and wine consumption at sanctioned community and cultural events, with organizers applying for permits through the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
