A Minnesota woman died in a crash on March 22 when her vehicle crossed into trees; seat belt use and alcohol are under investigation.
A 35-year-old Red Lake woman, Floris Ruby Rose Strong, died in a crash Sunday afternoon, March 22, near Thief River Falls in northern Minnesota.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, she was driving a 2012 Dodge Caravan westbound on Great Divide Road Northwest when it crossed Highway 89 and rolled into trees at 12:06 p.m. Strong was not wearing a seat belt, and investigators are looking into whether alcohol was a factor.
The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to the rural scene, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
