The Michigan State Police is offering a Teenage Defensive Driving program for licensed teens aged 16 to 19 with a GDL Level 2 license, featuring a five-hour course with one hour online and four hours of hands-on training in defensive driving, skid control, and evasive maneuvers using state patrol vehicles.
Sessions are scheduled for June 30 and July 1–2, 2026, with 18 students per class and a three-to-one student-to-instructor ratio.
