Madhya Pradesh has launched the 'Vidyarambh' certificate program, issuing formal recognition to children aged 5 to 6 who complete preschool at Anganwadi centers.
The initiative, introduced by Women and Child Development Minister Nirmala Bhuria in Bhopal, aims to support a smoother transition to primary school, strengthen trust in Anganwadi services, and reduce future dropout rates.
The certificates, aligned with Union Ministry guidelines, include child ID, enrollment date, and center details and will be rolled out across all 39 districts.
The program is part of broader efforts to improve early childhood education quality and awareness.
