Carla Toth, a 25-year-old Lake District restaurant worker, was sentenced for defrauding customers of £711 by overcharging them and voiding transactions using a manager-issued code between October 2024 and February 2025.
She admitted to the scheme at BAHA in Bowness, where CCTV and internal evidence confirmed the theft.
Toth returned the full amount to her employer, had no prior convictions, and expressed remorse.
