Twelve Iowa women Veterans and three in Texas received Quilts of Valor during National Women’s History Month, honoring their military service with handmade tributes. Twelve women Veterans in Iowa were honored with Quilts of Valor at a ceremony in Marion, joining over 1,000 Iowa Veterans to receive the handmade quilts crafted by the Freedom Stitchers of Iowa.
