Karim Khan, ICC chief prosecutor, has been cleared of sexual misconduct allegations by a panel of judges appointed by the ICC’s Assembly of States Parties, following a confidential review of a UN OIOS report.

The full report remains restricted to select member states.
Khan, who took voluntary leave in May 2025, has not commented.
The decision comes amid ongoing ICC investigations into war crimes in Gaza and Ukraine, and amid political pressure, including U.S. sanctions targeting ICC officials.
