A 26-year-old man was arrested without bond for attacking two Arlington police officers in Clarendon early Friday.
A 26-year-old Alexandria man, Quinton Berry, was arrested and held without bond after allegedly attacking two Arlington police officers in Clarendon around 3 a.m. on Friday.
Officers reported that Berry, described as bloody and agitated, opened the driver’s side door of their patrol car and assaulted the officer inside.
The second officer pursued him on foot, where Berry knocked him to the ground and attempted to take his taser.
Additional officers subdued Berry, who now faces multiple charges including assault on police and attempted disarming.
Both officers sustained minor injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing.
