A Kentucky woman set her apartment ablaze, claiming she’d “kill everybody,” leading to one hospitalization and eight evacuations.
A 68-year-old Kentucky woman, Elizabeth Radmacher, was arrested and charged with arson, wanton endangerment, and criminal mischief after allegedly setting her apartment on fire in Louisville on March 14, reportedly saying she was “going to kill everybody.” Authorities responded around 3 a.m., finding her outside the burning building.
She started the fire in her bedroom and fled without warning others; one person was hospitalized, and eight others escaped after a neighbor alerted them.
Radmacher claimed someone forced her to set the fire, but investigators found no evidence to support that.
The incident occurred amid her pending eviction, and the case remains under investigation.
