A three-day law enforcement operation in southwest Missouri, Operation Spring Cleaning, resulted in 101 arrests and 85 federal indictments for violent crimes, firearms violations, drug trafficking, and sex offenses.
Led by the Violent Crime Abatement Team, the effort involved federal, state, and local agencies and yielded seizures of 141 firearms, over 11 pounds of cocaine, 1.5 pounds of fentanyl, nearly 88 pounds of methamphetamine, and other drugs.
Ten additional arrests were made on state warrants, including a first-degree murder suspect and a CODIS match in an unsolved rape case.
