Jannik Sinner of Italy and American fifth seed Jessica Pegula advanced to the third round of the Miami Open, with Sinner defeating Bosnia’s Damir Dzumhur 6-3, 6-3 in 70 minutes, aiming to become the first man since Roger Federer in 2017 to win the "Sunshine Double."
Pegula reached the third round in 38 minutes after Britain’s Francesca Jones retired due to illness.
