Henry Tenon withdrew his guilty plea in the 2022 murder-for-hire case, challenging use of his plea negotiation statements.
Henry Tenon, who previously pleaded guilty to killing Jared Bridegan in a 2022 murder-for-hire plot, has withdrawn his plea and filed a motion to block prosecutors from using statements he made during plea negotiations.
His attorney argues these statements, made under oath while represented by counsel, should be inadmissible under Florida law.
Tenon originally agreed to testify against co-defendants Shanna Gardner and Mario Fernandez-Saldana in exchange for a 15-year minimum sentence, but recanted in 2025 and now faces first-degree murder and child abuse charges.
His next court date is March 23, 2026, while Gardner and Fernandez-Saldana are set to stand trial on August 10.
