Fifteen-year-old Fanny Utagushimaninde of Rwanda made history by scoring an unbeaten 111 off 65 balls on her Women’s T20I debut against Ghana, becoming the first woman to hit a century in a T20I debut and the youngest player to achieve the feat.
Her innings helped Rwanda post 210 for 3, with Merveille Uwase scoring 32 not out, and the team then bowled out Ghana for 88, winning by 122 runs in the Nigeria Invitational Tournament.
