Zomato has raised its platform fee for food delivery orders from ₹12.50 to ₹14.90 per order before GST, effective March 20, 2026, citing rising operational costs tied to energy prices and global supply disruptions.
The increase, equivalent to a 19.2% hike, affects all users across India and brings Zomato’s fee closer to rival Swiggy’s ₹14.99 charge including taxes.
The change follows previous adjustments in September 2025 and during the 2024 festive season.
Despite the fee rise, Zomato’s parent company, Eternal, reported a 72.88% year-on-year increase in net profit to ₹102 crore and more than tripled revenue to ₹16,315 crore in the December quarter.
