Wally Daudrich, a former Progressive Conservative leadership candidate, has bought the party’s former Winnipeg headquarters for $600,000—$200,000 below its asking price.
The 3,610-square-foot heritage home, built in 1912 and used as the party’s base since the 1970s, was sold to help address the PC Party’s nearly $689,000 debt.
Daudrich plans to restore the historic property and use it for events through his Churchill-based tour company.
The sale has sparked a complaint from the Manitoba NDP, alleging it violated corporate donation rules, but Elections Manitoba is still investigating.
The party says the sale supports its financial readiness for the October 2026 provincial election.
