Sunsure Energy has signed a long-term Power Purchase Agreement with JAKSON Engineering to supply 7.28 million kilowatt-hours of solar power annually to its offices and factory in Uttar Pradesh.
The 4.7 MWp project will offset up to 80% of grid power at the corporate site and 40% at the manufacturing facility, cutting carbon emissions by nearly 5.2 million kilograms yearly—equivalent to planting over 230,000 trees.
The deal supports JAKSON’s sustainability goals and India’s renewable energy push.
Sunsure, backed by Partners Group AG with a $400 million commitment, operates 700 MW of renewable assets and aims for 10 GW by 2030, serving major industries across India.
