Over 75,000 LED tumblers recalled due to choking hazard from exposed button batteries.
Over 75,000 BUILT LUUM LED light-up tumblers made by Lifetime Brands are being recalled due to a safety hazard: the cups can break, exposing a small button battery that poses a choking or ingestion risk, especially to children.
The 16- and 18-ounce tumblers, sold in winter and Fourth of July themes from October 2024 through December 2025 at Kroger, Hy-Vee, Meijer, Nordstrom Rack, Winn-Dixie, and Builtny.com for $10 to $15, have a battery compartment on the bottom.
Consumers are advised to stop using the product, remove and safely dispose of the battery, and contact Lifetime Brands for a refund by discarding the cup portion with the LED and submitting a photo of it in the trash.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is overseeing the recall.
