India seeks senior police officers for UN roles in Africa, with applications due by May 8, 2026.
The Ministry of Home Affairs has launched a recruitment drive for two senior police roles—Police Planning Adviser and Police Reform Adviser—at the UN Office in the African Union (UNOAU) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Open to active Indian Police Service officers at SP or DIG rank, nominations must be submitted electronically by May 8, 2026, via a designated email.
Required documents include the P-11 form, academic and employment certificates, a Human Rights Certificate, and APAR/ACR gradings from the past five years.
Applications lacking vigilance or cadre clearance, or submitted late, will be rejected.
The process supports India’s UN peacekeeping contributions and aligns with the Digital India initiative.
