GO train service suspended Mar. 21–22 on Lakeshore West line due to critical track work, with buses replacing trains and no stops at several stations.
GO train service on the Lakeshore West line will be suspended between Aldershot and Union stations from March 21 to 22 due to critical track work, Metrolinx said.
Service will continue from Niagara Falls to Aldershot, but trains starting or ending at Confederation and West Harbour GO stations will not run.
Replacement buses will operate between West Harbour and Union Station via Aldershot, Burlington, Oakville, and Clarkson, with no stops at Appleby, Bronte, Port Credit, Long Branch, Mimico, or Exhibition GO stations.
Passengers are advised to use local transit like the TTC.
Work includes replacing rail ties, installing utility crossings at Long Branch GO, upgrading the Bronte Creek bridge, reinforcing the Etobicoke Creek bridge approach, and advancing Ontario Line construction at Exhibition Station.
