Georgia Tech is reportedly considering Troy’s Scott Cross, 51, for its men’s basketball head coach position following the dismissal of Damon Stoudamire.
Cross, who has a 350-190 career record over 19 seasons, led Troy to two consecutive Sun Belt championships and NCAA Tournament appearances, including a 22-12 season in 2026 that ended in the first round.
He previously guided UT Arlington to an NCAA berth in 2008 and posted a 225-161 record there, despite being fired after three straight 20-win seasons.
Georgia Tech finished the 2025-26 season 11-20 overall and 2-16 in the ACC, ending a 12-game losing streak.
