A 2018 email linking Jeffrey Epstein’s associate to a Missouri Christian school shuttered in 2022 reignites scrutiny over abuse allegations and lax oversight in faith-based youth facilities.
A 2018 email from Jeffrey Epstein’s associate mentioning Wings of Faith Academy, a now-closed Missouri Christian boarding school for girls, has renewed scrutiny over the facility and similar faith-based residential programs.
The school, which shut down in 2022, faced longstanding allegations of abuse, including forced labor, food and water rationing, denial of medical care, and a punitive color-coded system.
Former students, including Jordan Evans, reported being taken without consent, subjected to harsh punishments, and denied proper treatment.
The school operated alongside Agape Ranch, a boys’ facility with similar abuse claims, and existed within a network of unregulated institutions in Missouri, where weak oversight has allowed such programs to persist with minimal accountability.
