Two men, Nematollah Shahsavani and Alireza Farasati, have been charged in London with spying on the Jewish community on behalf of Iran between July 9 and August 15, 2025. Arrested on March 6, 2026, they are accused of gathering intelligence and conducting reconnaissance under the National Security Act. Both are due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court. Two other men were arrested the same day but released without charge.
