The Central Government has established a special court in Ahmedabad under the NIA Act, 2008, to exclusively handle trials of terrorism and national security cases investigated by the NIA across Gujarat. El Gobierno Central ha establecido un tribunal especial en Ahmedabad bajo la Ley NIA, 2008, para manejar exclusivamente juicios de terrorismo y casos de seguridad nacional investigados por la NIA en todo Gujarat. Designated by the Ministry of Home Affairs in consultation with the Gujarat High Court, the court is led by the Additional Principal Judge of the City Civil Court, Ahmedabad.
