Brutvan, who knew the victim, faces a prison sentence of 17 years to life, with sentencing set for June 22.

A separate case saw the Appellate Division uphold a 20-year sentence for Joshua R. Condon of Hartwick, convicted of first-degree criminal sexual act involving a child, with no further appeals allowed.
