KKL-JNF allocates $1.5M to aid northern Israel residents near Lebanon border amid security concerns.
The Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael-Jewish National Fund has approved a NIS 6 million emergency aid package for residents within 2 kilometers of Israel’s northern border, including Shlomi, Metula, and Kiryat Shmona.
NIS 4.5 million will fund hotel stays for about 5,000 families, covering lodging, transport, and activities ahead of Passover.
An additional NIS 1.5 million will assist vulnerable individuals unable to stay in their homes, such as the elderly and disabled.
Funds will be delivered directly to local authorities for swift implementation.
The program, led by KKL-JNF in coordination with local governments, aims to provide relief amid ongoing security concerns along the Lebanon border.
