India is exploring joining either the UK-Italy-Japan or France-Germany-led consortiums to develop sixth-generation fighter jets, according to a parliamentary defence committee report.
The move aims to accelerate India’s access to advanced technologies like AI, next-gen sensors, and manned-unmanned teaming, complementing its indigenous Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) programme.
