Grimsby councillor Jennifer Korstanje files second human rights complaint over alleged online threats, seeking $50,000 in damages.
Grimsby councillor Jennifer Korstanje has filed a second human rights complaint against Grimsby Independent News and two residents, alleging retaliation after her September 2025 complaint.
She claims threats via social media, texts, and video calls, including violence and public exposure, and seeks $50,000 in damages.
The tribunal has confirmed receipt of the complaint and will investigate it separately from her first, which seeks $75,000 for gender-based discrimination and advocacy retaliation.
Storey, who runs the GIN Facebook page, says criticism of her complaint is protected expression, while Sharpe denies any link to GIN.
None of the allegations have been proven in court.
GIN is not connected to the former print publication.
