Auric Mining exceeded gold production targets at Western Australia’s Munda pit by 46%, driven by strong grades and mill recovery.
Auric Mining exceeded its gold production target at Western Australia’s Munda starter pit by 46%, producing 8,886 ounces—well above the 6,100-ounce forecast.
Strong results came from two campaigns processed at the Lakewood Mill via a toll-treating deal with Black Cat Syndicate, with Campaign Two recovering 6,168 ounces from 68,154 tonnes at a 3.18g/t head grade.
The reconciled average grade was 2.46g/t, 37% higher than forecast, and mill recovery reached 89.5%, surpassing expectations.
Additional 411 ounces from final gold-in-circuit results confirmed the deposit’s potential, especially at depth.
The success, achieved without owning a mill, strengthens Auric’s financial and geological position ahead of the larger Munda Main Pit, with a resource model update underway to reflect new high-grade zones.
