The 2026 Selfridge Open House and Air Show has been canceled by the 127th Wing of the Michigan Air National Guard due to operational and readiness demands, officials said. The event, scheduled for May 30–31, will not take place as mission-critical priorities take precedence. Brig. Gen. Leah Voelker expressed appreciation for community support and confirmed the event will return when conditions allow. The base continues its essential duties with partners across multiple branches of the military.
