SBI raised ₹6,051 crore via Tier 2 bonds with strong investor demand and a 7.05% rate.
State Bank of India raised ₹6,051 crore by issuing 10-year Basel III-compliant Tier 2 bonds with a 7.05% coupon rate, marking its second such issuance this fiscal year.
The bonds, which include a call option after five years, were oversubscribed nearly twice the base size of ₹5,000 crore, with 47 institutional investors including pension funds, mutual funds, and banks participating.
Rated AAA with a stable outlook by CRISIL and India Ratings, the bonds reflect strong investor confidence.
