Rafael Arciniegas Rosario, 59, of Kissimmee, won $1 million in Florida’s “Gold Rush Legacy” scratch-off game, claiming the prize on December 10, 2024, at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.
He purchased the $20 winning ticket at a RaceTrac on Conway Road in Orlando and opted for a one-time lump-sum payout of $640,000.
The game, launched in April 2024, offers 20 top prizes of $1 million and four $10 million jackpots, with overall odds of one-in-2.97.
The Florida Lottery said the game has contributed billions to state education funding.
