Firebreak's final update launches, ending live service as Remedy shifts to new Control sequel in 2026.
Remedy Entertainment has released the final major update, "Open House," for its co-op shooter Firebreak, adding five new Control-inspired arenas and improving gameplay with shorter harmful conditions, faster revives, and enhanced visibility.
The base game is now $19.99, the deluxe edition $29.99, and a Friend’s Pass allows free access for invited players.
While no further content is planned, servers will remain active with ongoing maintenance.
The update marks the end of live-service development for Firebreak, as Remedy shifts focus to a new Control sequel, Resonant, in 2026.
