A British man died in Bangkok after his girlfriend, who was hospitalized with spiked drinks, suffered a cardiac arrest.
A 38-year-old British man, Tom Pardhy, died in Bangkok, Thailand, on March 6, 2026, during a six-week trip with his girlfriend, Naomi Raksha, 31, who was hospitalized after reportedly being given spiked drinks.
Pardhy was found unresponsive about 24 hours after Raksha suffered a cardiac arrest and was intubated, later pronounced dead.
Raksha, who experienced multiple near-death incidents and a coma, is now in rehabilitation.
The UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office is supporting the family, and Thai authorities are investigating.
The exact cause of death has not been disclosed, and the family has requested privacy.
A GoFundMe page for Raksha’s recovery has raised over $9,500.
