A 15-year-old girl was stabbed at Thorpe St Andrew School in Norfolk on March 11, leading to a three-hour lockdown and the arrest of a 15-year-old boy charged with attempted murder. The girl sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was released from the hospital the next day. Her parents, one abroad and one without phone signal, described the ordeal as terrifying and expressed gratitude for community and school support, including a teacher who accompanied their daughter in the ambulance. The accused boy was remanded in youth detention and is set to appear at Norwich Crown Court on April 10. The girl is gradually returning to normal life but is not yet ready for full-time school.
