Two men released without charge in UK spy probe linked to Iran; four others still in custody or on bail.
A 52-year-old man from Hertfordshire and a 55-year-old man from Barnet were released without charge after being arrested on March 6 in connection with a Metropolitan Police investigation into suspected spying for Iran.
The arrests were part of a broader probe under the National Security Act focused on alleged surveillance of locations and individuals linked to London’s Jewish community.
Two other suspects, aged 22 and 40, remain in custody, with their detention authorized until March 20.
Six additional men were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and one on suspicion of assaulting a police officer; all have been released on bail, with future court dates set for May and June.
