Pittsburgh’s new Citizens Live at the Wylie venue, set to open in October in the Lower Hill District, will host Wiz Khalifa as its inaugural headliner.
The 3,500- to 4,000-capacity venue, operated by Live Nation, features design elements honoring the neighborhood’s history, including photos from the Charles “Teenie” Harris Archive and a mirrored piano referencing the Crawford Grill.
Additional acts include Styx, Boyz II Men, Tedeschi Trucks Band, and local events like SNB.
The project is part of broader redevelopment efforts in the area, supported by a $930,000 fund allocation, and aims to boost cultural and entertainment offerings in the revitalized Lower Hill District.
