Nano One is expanding its lithium iron phosphate (LFP) production at its Candiac, Quebec facility to 800 tonnes per year, with detailed engineering over 25% complete and on track for July 2026 completion. Purchase orders are issued for major equipment from European suppliers, vendor selection is finalized, and the project is progressing toward construction readiness. Procurement, installation, and commissioning are expected by mid-2027. The expansion integrates and automates a 20m³ reactor using Nano One’s One-Pot process, aiming to reduce costs, energy use, and environmental impact. The facility supports pilot, commercial, and licensing activities, backed by government funding and partnerships with companies like Sumitomo Metal Mining and Rio Tinto.
