Nancy Wilson, co-founder and guitarist of the rock band Heart, was born on March 16, 1954, in San Francisco.
Alongside her sister Ann, she helped form Heart in 1973, and the band achieved global success with over 35 million records sold, two number-one singles—“These Dreams” and “Alone”—and multiple top-40 hits.
