The Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation held its 42nd Annual Award Ceremony in Udaipur, honoring 81 top students and notable individuals for excellence in culture, service, and national contribution. Chairman Dr. Lakshyaraj Singhji Mewar introduced the new Maharana Arvind Singhji Mewar Award in memory of his father. Awardees included Dr. Molly Emma Aitken for scholarship in Indian miniature painting, journalist Kamlesh Kishore Singhji for media service, Squadron Leader Rizwan Malik for military bravery during Operation Sindoor, environmentalist Marimuthu Yoganathan for planting over 500,000 trees, and the crew of Jet Airways Flight 9W 569 for handling an emergency childbirth at 35,000 feet. Puneet Chhatwal received the inaugural Maharana Arvind Singhji Award for tourism leadership, Devvrat Mahesh Rekhe was honored for a rare Vedic recitation, and K. Prithika Yashini and journalist Bhuvanesh Jain were recognized for societal service.
