JAY-Z will headline the 2026 Roots Picnic in Philadelphia alongside The Roots, marking his first headlining festival appearance since 2017 and his first major live performance since 2018. The two-day event, scheduled for May 30–31, will take place at the Belmont Plateau in Fairmount Park, a new venue chosen after fan complaints about the 2025 edition. The collaboration honors their long-standing musical partnership, including their 2001 MTV Unplugged performance. Tickets go on sale March 18 at 10 a.m., with additional performers to be announced.
