Hillcrest Energy Technologies confirms its ZVS PCS1000 grid power conversion system prototype is on track for completion by June 2026, with demonstrations planned in Vancouver and Germany. The 200 kW, 1000V inverter, using proprietary Zero Voltage Switching technology, aims for over 99% peak efficiency, exceeds industry standards, reduces electromagnetic interference, and supports scalable designs up to 1.2 MW. It aligns with the Open Compute Project’s 800V data center sidecar architecture, suited for AI-driven data centers, and is being developed to meet UL1741 grid certification for use in energy storage and microgrids.
