Three pumpers and an aerial appliance were deployed, smoke was visible near the Tuggeranong town centre, and a partial roof collapse occurred. Firefighters contained the blaze, prevented further spread, and safely evacuated occupants. One half of Athllon Drive was closed between Cowlishaw and Anketell streets, and residents with respiratory conditions were advised to take precautions. The cause remains unknown.
