CAA Manitoba’s 15th annual Worst Roads Campaign urges public reports on deteriorating roads, with potholes causing widespread vehicle damage and prompting past government funding.
CAA Manitoba has launched its 15th annual Worst Roads Campaign, urging residents to report deteriorating roads ahead of a spring release of the official list.
With over 90% of Manitobans expressing concern, rural roads are now rising in rankings, driven by population growth and infrastructure strain.
Nearly half of drivers report vehicle damage, with potholes causing 86% of incidents and average repair costs at $944.
The campaign has previously led to government funding for repairs, including a $79 million investment for Highway 34.
Nominations are open online until April 15.
