Abbotsford MLA Bruce Banman has退出 the B.C. Conservative leadership race, endorsing Yuri Fulmer as campaign co-chair. Banman cited the need for a fresh, experienced leader to address the province’s economic challenges. Fulmer, a Capilano University chancellor and former candidate, expressed gratitude for the support. The leadership race now has seven candidates, with voting beginning May 9 and a result announced May 30. The party remains under interim leadership following John Rustad’s resignation in December.
