UK police seek unredacted Epstein documents, including those linking Peter Mandelson to the financier, amid ongoing investigations.
In March 2026, Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley is visiting Washington, D.C., to urge U.S. authorities to release unredacted documents from Jeffrey Epstein’s files, particularly those involving former British official Peter Mandelson.
The request follows the January 2026 release of millions of pages of Epstein-related materials, some of which suggest Mandelson shared sensitive government information with Epstein after his conviction.
Mandelson, who was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office and dismissed as UK ambassador to the U.S. in 2025, denies wrongdoing.
The Metropolitan Police are seeking full access to the records, possibly through a formal mutual legal assistance request, which could take up to a year.
Meanwhile, Thames Valley Police are investigating Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor over similar allegations.
