A pedestrian died in a hit-and-run crash early Sunday morning in Jurupa Valley near Mission Boulevard and Campbell Street, south of the 60 Freeway. Deputies found the victim with severe injuries and pronounced them dead at the scene. The individual’s identity has not been released pending family notification. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department’s Traffic Collision Reconstruction Team is investigating, with no determination yet on whether alcohol, drugs, or other factors were involved.
