MTN Group reported a strong financial turnaround in 2025, posting a profit before tax of 47.4 billion rand ($2.81 billion), reversing a 4.1 billion rand loss in 2024. Group service revenue rose 22.7% to 218.5 billion rand, driven by 54.9% growth in Nigeria and 35.9% in Ghana. Data revenue jumped 37.7%, and fintech revenue grew 30%, with transaction volumes reaching 23.3 billion. The company expanded its customer base to 307.2 million, invested 38.5 billion rand in network upgrades, and declared a 500-cent final dividend, up 45%.
