The annual Mahoning Valley Educator of the Year Honors Dinner, launched in 2024 by Hubbard teacher Josh MacMillan and now backed by the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber, honors teachers for their role in building student potential and shaping the region’s workforce.
With about 400 attendees, the event highlights how classroom work drives long-term prosperity, emphasizing that economic development begins with education, not just corporate expansion.
